our history

In the aftermath of World War II, a family of entrepreneurs in Milan (Italy), embarked on a remarkable journey of restoration. Mr. Angelo Giorgetti, a once-thriving businessman, had been stripped of his family businesses and wealth by the devastating conflict. However, amidst the ruins of a war-torn nation, as Italy emerged from the chaos of war, the dawn of the Italian Republic in 1946 marked a new beginning, igniting a spirit of resilience and determination within the family, rekindling our entrepreneurial spirit, breathing new life into our businesses.

Through collective dedication and hard work, our family resurrected the company, propelling it to newfound success: as the company flourished, expanding its reach and product offerings, it quickly established itself as one of the most successful business families in its field.

As the family grew, so did our business interests, leading to the creation of diverse branches and companies: in the 1980s, recognizing the potential of emerging environmental technologies, the family boldly ventured into the realm of chemistry, a decision that would propel DEC (as "Depurazione Emissioni Convogliate", formerly "Depurazione di Emissioni per l'industria Chimica"), to new heights and solidify its global presence.
