The job will be based in Rho (Milan, Italy) and will require frequent traveling to the sites (worldwide) during project execution phases and after sales services.

Il candidato ideale ha esperienza (5÷10 anni) maturata presso società di ingegneria ed impiantistica, in area processo/avviamento impianti (petroliferi, petrolchimici e trattamento gas): esperienza nelle attività di FAT, Precommissioning e Commissioning, verifica dell'avanzamento dei lavori, preparazione delle procedure e dei rapporti relativi alle attività di Test Run ed Acceptance. A tal fine si confronterà attivamente con le altre funzioni aziendali (Engineering Director, Technical Manager, Process Manager, EHS Manager, Operations, Logistica ed Acquisti).

Darà inoltre il suo contributo nel promuovere le innovazioni, attraverso una maggiore integrazione tra business e tecnologia, con analisi di fattibilità relative a nuovi prodotti/processi.

La capacità di utilizzo di simulatori di processo (i.e. Aspen HYSYS, WinSim, etc.) è gradita.

Responsibilities

In detail, your responsibilities will comprise:

  • deliver pre-FEED and FEED packages to fully meet the customer requirements and to the required schedule;
  • ensure the Safety & Integrity of the design through application of good engineering practice and the application of structured design reviews, including HAZID and HAZOP;
  • to defend the functionalities and thus the cost/benefits of these packages under the scrutiny of the customer (Value Engineering);
  • generate quality improvement initiatives to reduce project development cost & improve schedule;
  • proactively manage interfaces between Production and Service units across the site to ensure consensus between the various stakeholders. The incumbent will need to display a high degree of customer focus;
  • work with the Project Leader in supporting the completion of some of the key project deliverables to meet Project Assurance milestones (Risk Reviews and Opportunity framing as examples).

  • Qualifications & Requirements

    EDUCATION

  • advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering.
  • WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 5÷10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in process engineering operations is required, with proven and trackable expertise in the process industry.
  • LANGUAGES

  • proficiency in Italian (mother-tongue or exceptionally fluent) and proficiency in English and/or Spanish and/or Portoguese and/or Arabic languages (written and spoken).
  • OTHERS

  • punctuality and good attendance are essential requirements;
  • flexibility of working schedule and overtime is required;
  • must be able to do extensive walking, climbing and accessing stairways, walkways, gangways and platforms of a chemical plant; and shall not suffer from fear of heights or claustrophobia;
  • when at construction site or on the plant be exposed to hot, dusty, and noisy surroundings;
  • when at construction site or on the plant be exposed to sun, rain, snow, sand.
